Pera Pigadia Bay (Ormos Pera Pigadia) is located on the east coast of Ithaca, one mile north-west of Cape St. Ioanis, the south-eastern tip of the island.
Yachts are anchored along the west shore of the bay, usually with mooring lines to shore. Anchor is at a depth of 8-15 meters. The bottom is sand and pebbles. It may take a few tries to get the anchor fixed well. The cove is good sheltere from the prevailing north-westerly winds.
In calm weather, yachts are also anchored in the north of the bay near the small islet of Pera Pigadi (another name Ligia).
