Marmagas Bay (Ormos Marmagkas) is located in the north of the east coast of Ithaki. On the charts the bay is nonamed. To identify the bay we will use the name of the beach in it.
Yachts are anchored all around the bay, but the northern part of the bay is most sheltered from the prevailing north-west winds. The bottom is sand and seaweed. Anchor is at a depth of 5-15 meters, picking out patches of sand. You can take a lines to the shore if you want it.
On the shore of the bay is not equipped pebble beach. In the summer, there is a small trailer selling barbecue. On the island of St. Nicholas opposite the beach is a small Greek church. There are often a lot of wasps.
