Yacht anchorages in Skhoinos Bay

Skhoinos Bay (Ormos Skhoinos) is located at the eastern part of the large bay of Aetou (Molou), which practically divides the island of Ithaca in two.

Skinos Bay is quite large and deep. It is open to the north-west. Yacht anchoring in the bay is possible either in calm weather or with southerly winds. Yachts are anchored along the shores of the bay at a depth of 5-20 meters, often taking lines on the shore. The bottom is sand and seaweed.
