Russian Bay is located on the south-west of Poros Island, 1.5 miles north-west of the town of Poros.
In the Russian Bay yachts are anchored all around the bay at depths of 3-20 meters. The bottom is sand and some seaweed. Holdsing is good. When you are anchored along the shore it is recommended to take lines from the stern to the shore.
The bay is well sheltered from the north winds that prevail in summer.
On the shore is a small beach and the ruins of the Russian shipyard.
The road to the town of Poros (4.5 km) runs next to the bay. You can call a taxi.
At the entrance to the bay is a small island called Dhaskalio on which stands the Chapel of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The island has a stone pier, to which you can moor a dinghy.
