Yacht mooring in Porto Vromi

Porto Vromi is located in the west of Zakynthos, 7.5 miles from the northern tip of the island (8.5 miles by sea).

There are many mooring buoys in the bay owned by locals. Try contacting them on VHF channel 09 and it is likely that you will be allowed to use one of the buoys.

The bay is quite deep and it is difficult to be anchored, as you have to drop anchor at a depth of 17-20 meters. The bottom is rocky. The bay shelters yachts well from the prevailing north-westerly winds. When the wind is westerly, a wave enters the cove.
