Yacht anchorage in Xigia Bay

Xigia Bay is located on the north-east coast of Zakynthos, 3.5 miles from the northern tip of the island. The bay is unnamed on the maps, so we will use the name of the beach to refer to it.

In Xigia Bay, yachts are anchored at depths of 3-10 meters on the sandy bottom. Holding is good. The bay shelters yachts from the prevailing north-westerly winds, but a wave can come into the bay when the winds are strong in this direction.

The bay attracts tourists not only by the beach, but also by hot sulfur springs, beautiful rocks with grottos and caves. On the shore of the bay there is a small equipped sandy beach and a tavern.
