Sicilia Island

Sicilia Island is the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea and the southernmost part of Italy. The island of Sicily falls on the toe of the Italian "boot" with its northeastern tip (Capo Peloro). The island of Sicily is separated from the Italian mainland by the Strait of Massina, which is 1.7 miles wide at its narrowest part.
