Yacht anchorage at Fontane Beanche village

The resort village of Fontane Beanche (White Fountains) is located on the south of Sicily's east coast 3.7 miles south of Syracuse (by sea 6 miles).

Yachts can be anchored in the whole water area of the bay without approaching the swimming area, bounded by buoys. Depths are 4-10 meters. The seabed is sandy. Holding is good. The bay shelters yachts from winds and waves of western and northern directions.

On the shore there is a large lively sandy beach with restaurants.

The village has a railway station that runs along the entire coast of Sicily.
