Yacht moorings in Cala Principale on Favignana Island

Principale Bay, around which the main town of Favignana Island is located, lies in the middle of the northern coast of Favignana Island.

Prinicipale Bay is the main harbor of the islands. It is open to winds from north-west to north-east. Mooring space at the pier here is limited, especially in high season, and is crowded with local tourist boats. Transit yachts can be moored stern or bow to the L-shaped pier, managed by the company Chircolo Nautico Favignana. Depths here range from 2.0 to 3.0 meters.

Out of season, all berths are occupied by small fishing boats.

Mooring is also allowed at Molo San Leonardo at depths of 4.0 - 5.0 meters between 19:30 and 07:30 hours.

It is also possible anchorage closer to the center of the bay at depths of 3-4 meters.
