Yacht mooring in the port of San Nicola l'Arena

The port and village of San Nicola l'Arena is located on the north coast of Sicily, 14 miles south-east of Palermo.

The port has 800 berths for yachts and boats on floating pontoons and concrete piers. The maximum allowable length of yachts is 25 meters. Depths in the harbor are up to 3 meters. Good shelter from winds and waves from all directions except east and north-east.

There is a report that at the entrance to the port on the fairway there is a concrete block at a depth of 1.6 meters.

There are several restaurants near the harbor. There is a supermarket. The main attraction of the village is the castle of San Nicolo.
