Ragusa is a city in the south-west of the Italian island of Sicily, the administrative center of the province of the same name. It is considered the most dynamic city of the Italian south. For its peculiar history, socio-economic environment and Sicilian Baroque urban ensembles, Ragusa is also called "an island on an island". Together with the other seven towns of the Noto Valley, Ragusa is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Ragusa is located 25 kilometers inland from the coast. On the coast is the village of Marina di Ragusa, which is home to a large and modern yacht marina, where yachtsmen can not only find safe shelter for their yacht in all weather conditions, service and, if necessary, repair the yacht, but also visit the many attractions of the town.
