Map of moorings in Salina marina

The Salina Marina consists of a long breakwater and a separate floating pontoon. The marina provides a total of 150 berths for yachts stern or bow to the breakwater or pontoon. Depths range from 4.5 to 6.0 meters on the breakwater and from 2.0 to 2.5 meters at the pontoon. The maximum length of yachts that the marina can accommodate is 40 meters. Water (sometimes limited) and electricity are available at all mooring berths. The marina is not protected from strong southerly winds. When a yacht approaches Salina marina, you should contact the marina on VHF channel 11 before entering or wait for a pilot at the entrance.

When all places in the marina are occupied, it is possible to be moored in the commercial harbor.

Yachts are moored stern or bow to the quay at their anchor so as not to interfere with the approach of ferries and hydrofoils. Depths are 3.0 - 5.5 meters along the quays. The maximum length of yachts is 30 meters. There are no services, but water is available at the fuel pier.

If there are no berths in the port, you can be anchored just south of the marina at depths of 5-10 meters in stable calm weather or westerly winds.

I like this anchorage out of all the ones described on this page the best.
