Yacht anchorage at Tanjung Rhu Beach

The anchorage at Tanjung Rhu Beach is located in the north of Langkawi Island.

Yachts anchor outside Tanjong Bay on 4-6 meters deep away from the reef around Pulau Kelam Baya. Beware of the strong cross-shore currents that sometimes occur at high and low tides. The south-western part of the bay is not recommended as an overnight stop.
