Yacht anchorage off Gubang Darat Island

The yacht anchorage is located in the strait between the second largest island of the Langkawi archipelago, Pulau Dayang Bunting, and the small island of Pulau Gubang Darat on the west side of Dayang Bunting.

Yacht anchorage at a depth of 5-12 meters anywhere in the strait. The bottom is muddy. Holding is good. The anchorage is good shelter for yachts from the prevailing winds in both seasons.

A mile to the north is located Pregnant MaidenLake on Dayang Banting Island.
