Yacht anchorage off Bumbon Besar Island

The yacht anchorage is located on the east side of Bumbon Besar Island (Pulau Bumbon Besar) and the island itself lies 1.2 miles south-east of the capital of Langkawi, Kuah City.

Yachts are anchored on the north-east side of the island at a depth of 4-5 meters. This is a good anchorage during the south-west monsoon season (at winter). In summer there can be some waves here. The island is uninhabited, but there is a fish farm at the anchorage.
