Amazon Creek or Little Gunluk Cove (Küçük Gunluk Köyü) is located in the northeast of the large bay of Bordubet 33 miles east-southeast of Bodrum.
Yachts usually do an anchorage on the east side of the bay with a lines to the shore at depths of 4-7 meters. The head of the creek is shallow.Large yachts can anchor under the cape at the entrance although the shelter is worse. The bottom is muddy. Holding is good. The shelter is good but here may be waves in the cove if Meltemy blow.
The camping provides some services to yachtsmen: water, ice, showers, bar, restaurant and provisions from Marmaris.
The creek is a charming place with dense pine trees growing over the water's edge giving it a jungle-like appearance - hence the name.
