Akbuek Bay is located on the north coast of Gokova Gulf 34 miles east of Bodrum.

Akbuk Bay is well sheltered from winds from all directions except southeasterly.
In Akbuk Bay yachts can moor to one of the two restaurant piers located in the western corner of the bay or anchorage in front of the beach at depths of 3-15 meters. The bottom is sandy. Holding is good.
The place is quite lively because there is a popular sandy beach on the west shore of the bay.
