Yacht anchorages in Mersincik Bay

Mersincik Bay (Mersincik Koyu) is located in the northwest of the Datca Peninsula in Gokova Gulf, 17 miles south of Bodrum.

Mersincik is a relatively large bay that it is open to the north and northeast. In calm weather yachts can anchorage almost all over the bay.

There is a small cove on the northwest side of Mersinchik Bay where yachts can anchrage when Meltemi. The best shelter is near the north shore of the bay. Yachts anchored at a depth of 5-12 meters choosing a place with a sandy bottom. Part of the bottom is covered with weed where holding is worse.
