Karaka Bay is located in the eastern part of Gokov Bay on its southern coast.

Anchoring of yachts in Karaka Bay is possible in its southern part in a small enclosed bay where Karakasogut Mutsev Marina and Global Sailing Pier are located. Anchor at a depth of 12 meters or more on the muddy bottom holds well.
On the south shore of the bay is the village of Karakasogut with several restaurants and a small store.
