Orak Island is located off the north coast of Gokova Gulf opposite Kargicak Bay 9 miles east-southeast of Bodrum Marina.

Yachts are usually anchored with lines to the shore along all shore of the bay. Anchor at depths of 10-15 meters. Bottom is sand, stones, seaweed. The bay is not suitable for anchoring yachts in northerly winds.
