Yacht anchorage in the south bay of Orak Island

Orak Island is located off the north coast of Gokova Bay opposite Kargicak Bay 9 miles east-southeast of Bodrum Marina. The south bay is located on the southeast side of the island.

In the south bay of the island of Orok yachts usually anchorage with lines to the shore along all shore of the bay. The anchor is at depths of 5-10 meters. The bottom is sand and seaweed. The bay is unsuitable for anchoring yachts in northeasterly, easterly and southeasterly winds.
