Yacht anchorage in Iskele Bay

Iskele Bay is located on the east corner of Gokova Gulf half a mile to west of the village of Akyaka which is in the northeast corner of the bay.

Yachts are anchored in the middle of the bay at a depth of 8-10 meters. The bottom is sandy. Holding is good.There are a few piers in the western part of the quay, but they are filled with small yachts of the local yacht club.  The depths at the piers are unknown.

There is a prestigious hotel on the coast. There are three good restaurants. Migros supermarket is one kilometer to the east in the village of Akyaka.
