The largest islang of Yesilov Gulf Kizil (Kizil Ada) is located in the northern part of the bay 2 miles south of Bozburun.
Usually yachts are anchored off the eastern shore of the island. In calm weather or during Meltemi yachts can anchor along the whole eastern shore on depths of 10-15 meters. The bottom is sand and seaweed. Holding is good on the sand. Almost always yachts have lines to the shore.
During southerly winds Datbyukyu Bay in the southeast of the island gives some shelter to the yachts.
In the north of Kizil Island there are two sandy islands 200 meters from the coast and a sand bar extending northward. Yachts coming from the north of Kizil Island are recommended to pass through the channel 30 meters from the cape. The depth here is about 4 meters.
