Yacht anchorages near Zeytin Island

Zeytin Island (Zeytin Ada) is located in the northern part of Yesilova Gulf a little less than 3 miles to south of Bozburun. Zeytin means olive.

In summer, when the meltemi blows, the most protected anchorage for yachts is Aquarium Bay in the south of the island. Yachts usually anchorage at depths of 10-15 meters with lines ashore. The bottom is sand and seaweed. Holding is good on the sand.
