Yacht anchorage in Kufre Bay

Kufre Bay (Kufre Koyu) is located on the south coast of Gokova Gulf 32 miles east-southeast of Bodrum.

Yachts can anchorage throughout Kufre Bay except in the shallow northeastern part of the bay. Most yachts prefer to anchorage near the northwest shore with lines to shore. Anchor at a depth of 4-12 meters on the sandy bottom. The north end of the bay is shallow. You can also pick up one of several mooring buoys owned by the restaurant, which is on the northeast side of the bay. The restaurant has a small pier that can be approached on a dingy.

When approaching the bay you have to sail between the islands that are quite close together. And although the depths are deep enough for any boat you have to keep in mind that there are underwater rocks near the islands.

The bay is quite even in August. The hiking trail on the south side of the cove is marked.
