Yacht anchorage in Gebekse Bay

Gebekse Bay (Gebekse Koyu) is located 12 miles south of Marmaris.

The best place to anchorage a yacht in Gebekse Bay is in its western part. The bottom here is sandy. Anchor at a depth of 7-15 meters. In calm weather yachts are anchored along all shores of the bay. The bay shelters yachts well from Meltemi and south winds but it is open to the east and northeast.

Many gulets with tourists come to the bay during the day at high season but only a few yachts stay overnight.

On the shore there are Byzantine ruins.
