Beli Bay is located on the east coast of Cres Island 4.3 miles ( 5.9 miles by sea) south-south-east of the northern tip of the island.

There are eight mooring buoys for yachts in the bay. The buoys are standing too close together. The bay shelters yachts from winds and waves from NW-W-SW. The buoys are standing too close together, so Beli is not recommended as an overnight stop.
It is 800 meters uphill to the old town of Beli.
