Ul Bay is located on the north-east coast of Cres Island 1.8 miles northwest of the eastern tip of the island.

Yachts can be anchored all around the bay at depths of 3-10 meters. The bottom is sand and silt. Holding is good. The bay is open to the north-east. There are a few houses and small concrete piers for fishing boats in the head of the bay on the west shore. Many wasps.
