Island Panyee (Koh Pan Yi) is located four miles north of James Bond Island practically at the estuary of the Pang Nga River. The island is famous for the fact that off its southern shore is a village of sea gypsies built in the sea on stilts.

The village of sea gypsies on the island of Panye is a unique settlement in Phang Nga Bay. It is located at the foot of a high limestone cliff in the southern part of the island.
