Ko Racha

The islands of Racha Noi and Racha Yai lie 10 miles south of the southern end of Phuket. Racha means king, Yai means big, Noi means small. There are several anchorages for yachts near the islands. The choice of anchorage depends on wind direction. Yachts are anchored at their own anchorages. On Racha Yaai there are buoys, but most often they are occupied by boats delivering tourists from Phuket. The Racha Islands have clear water, sandy beaches and excellent snorkeling.
