Yacht anchorage at Koh Pak Bia

Koh Phak Bia is located in the northern part of the Koh Hong archipelago. The anchorage is located to the south of the island.

Koh Phak Bia offers a secluded yacht shelter useful ancorage at the way from north of Pang Nga Bay to Krabi. The yacht approaches to the anchorage from the south to a depth about 10 meters and anchored on the sandy bottom.

At the west end of the island there is an impressive white sandbar which is very good for swimming and snorkeling and exploring the coral reef to the north of it.

It is not recommended to anchored to the north of the sandbar because large corals fringe the bay rising here from depths of about 20 meters.
