Sardinia Island

Sardinia (Italian: Sardegna) is an island in the Mediterranean Sea, located west of the Apennine Peninsula between Sicily and Corsica, and is the second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. It is part of Italy as the autonomous region of Sardinia. Sardinia has some of the most luxurious and expensive resorts in Italy. This applies not only to beach tourism, but also to yacht vacations. Many luxury yachts are rented out with a crew to travel along the coast of the island. However, in Sardinia you can rent a cheap yacht without crew, but the cost of the trip will still be high.
Sardinia offers some of the most varied sailing conditions in the Mediterranean along almost 1000 miles of coastline, with a number of small picturesque harbors, as well as the main ports of Alghero, Cagliari and Olbia. Other points of interest for yachtsmen include charming coastal islands such as the archipelago of Maddalena on the north-eastern side of the island, Carloforte and Sant'Antioco on the southern tip; magnificent marinas at Porto Rotondo and Porto Cervo; and idyllic anchorages with dazzling white sands and crystal clear waters - especially on the eastern side of the island.
