Villasimius Yacht Marina

Villasimius Yacht Marina is located 12 miles east of Cagliari on the west side of Punta Santa Caterina, the extreme south-eastern point of Sardinia.

The Villasimius Marina has 840 mooring spaces for yachts on the water at seven concrete piers and 15 floating pontoons. The maximum allowable length of a yacht is 60 meters. Depths in the marina - up to 6.5 meters.

The marina has its own yacht repair yard, which allows to repair and store yachts up to 20 meters long on the shore in winter. The marina has a mobile and stationary crane with a lifting capacity of up to 40 tons and a travel lift.

There are no hazards on approaches, but be careful of the isolated rocky reef of Scoglio Santo Stefano if approaching from the south. The entrance to the marina is located at the end of a long breakwater extending 560 meters north of the shore. Entrance from the northeast.

Since 1998, the area around Villasimius has been part of the Cabo Carbonara Marine Reserve. There are some wonderful beaches and an impressive sea lagoon within easy reach of the marina.

The marina has a shopping center with numerous businesses, bars, stores, newspaper tobacconist, laundry, grocery store, perfume store, sports and marine clothing stores and companies offering rental cars, scooters and RIBs.

In summer there is a shuttle service to town and the area's most beautiful beaches. It is departing approximately every 20 minutes.
