Cala Coticcio. Caprera Island.

Cala Coticcio is a butterfly-shaped bay on the east coast of Caprera Island.

Anchor at depths of 5.0 - 10.0 meters on sand and rocks. The cove is open to the south, but sheltered from winds from other directions. Anchorage will become uncomfortable and even unsuitable in strong winds from the south and south-east.

Both bays are very popular during the season, so the beaches are fenced with buoys to prevent crews on dinghies coming ashore from anchored yachts.
