Cala Garibaldi is a bay located on the west coast of Caprera Island less than a mile north-north-east of the causeway connecting the islands of Maddalena and Caprera.
Cala Garibaldi is a natural bay sheltered from winds and waves of all directions except the north.
There are three small islets in the bay, which are named Isole Italian. The best anchorage is south-east of the southern island at a depth of 3.0-4.0 meters on a sandy seabed.
Beware of the many underwater and overwater rocks in the bay, especially closer to shore.
There is a jetty at the southern end of the bay that can be used for crew embarkation / disembarkation, but it is forbidden to stand there.
