Yacht mooring on buoys in Cala Francese Bay

Cala Francese Bay is located on the west coast of Maddalena Island.

Buoys are set at a depth of 4-5 meters in the northern part of the bay. There is no shelter from the prevailing westerly winds.

In the south-eastern part of the bay there is an abandoned granite quarry, further to the south there is an abandoned fortress of Batteria Nido d'Aquila.
