Yacht Marina 4

Marina 4 is located at the estuary of the River Livenza on its right side opposite the ancient town of Kaorle, 25 miles east-north-east of Venice.

Marina 4 has 450 berths for yachts on the water and 80 berths for yachts ashore. Allowed length of yachts is 4-25 meters. The depth in the marina is 3.5 meters. At the entrance to the marina there is a sluice, which allows to maintain a constant, independent of tides and winds water level in the basin. This makes the marina safer. The marina is open all year round.

The entrance to the estuary is located one and a half miles south-west of the Kaorle Bell Tower. Two breakwaters extended some distance out to sea enclose the entrance. A minimum depth of 3.5 meters is expected, but beware of siltation reducing the depth. At night, the lights on the breakwaters can be difficult to distinguish from the background of street lamps. In summer, the channel is marked by buoys.

Do not attempt to approach this coast, enter or leave the harbor, when there is a strong wind from the shore or when the sea is very swell.

The marina has a repair yard with a travel lift 40 ton hoist.
