Yacht anchorage at Cala Portese off Caprera Island

Cala Portese bay is located on the south-eastern side of Caprera Island.

The bay is open to the north-east. It is not recommended to anchored there in winds of this direction. There are several mooring buoys in the bay. The seabed is sand and seaweed. Holding is good. During the day there are a lot of yachts, but most of them leave in the evening to return to the marina at daylight.

There is a restaurant and an equipped beach on the shore.
