Anchorage off Dino Island

Dino Island is located on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria, 97 miles north of the Strait of Messina.

Yacht anchorage off Dino Island is possible in several places as shown on the Navionics chart. You should be anchored at depths of 5-12 meters, choosing sandy seabeds. Overnight anchorage here can be recommended only in stable calm weather.

Dino Island attracts tourists and yachtsmen, first of all, with its beautiful grottoes and caves, especially, the Lion's Cave (Grotta del Leone).

There is a dive center on the beach. You can use its services to explore the underwater caves.
