Yacht anchorage in Desimi Bay

Desimi Bay (Ormos Desimi) is located on the east coast of Lefkas Island, 0.8 miles to the west of Skopelos Island.

Yachts are anchored all around the bay at depths of 3-20 meters. The bottom is sand, stones, seaweed, but you can always choose a sandy area where the anchor will fix good. The bay shelters the yachts good from the prevailing north-westerly winds.

The bay is beautiful, but noisy. There is a popular beach, several villas, a camping and a pair of taverns. On the east side of the bay there is a cave with the sanctuary of St. Nicholas.
