Yacht anchorage in Vlycho Bay

Vlycho Bay (Ormos Vlycho) is located on the east coast of Lefkas island, 1.5 miles to south of Nidri. The bay is 2 miles long and 1 mile wide and. It is an excellent shelter for yachts in winds of all directions.

Yachts are anchored all around the bay at a depth of 5-7 meters. The bottom is muddy. Holding is good. There are never any waves in the bay, but wind gusts can be quite strong.

The water in the bay is muddy. Often there are medusae, which are not visible. Swimming is not recommended. Yachts are often anchored without crews.

The west shore is more populated than the east shore. 

There are several taverns, a yacht club, a small supermarket.

Vlycho Yacht Club has a berth for 10-12 yachts with a depth about 3 meters near piers and a tavern. Yacht Club provides yacht repair services. There is water and electricity on the pontoon. You can order the delivery of fuel. There are almost never available berth at piers. Tel: +30 697 677 8963
