Yacht moorings in Nidri

The small town of Nidri is located on the east coast of Lefkas at the entrance of the large bay of Vlykho.

Yachts can be moored at one of the six pontoons in Nidri or at anchor opposite in Tranquil Bay. Depths at the pontoons are up to 5 meters. Yachts at Nidri pontoons are protected from winds and waves from all directions, except north-east.

Opposite Nidri village, yachts can be anchored in Tranquil Bay at depths of 3-10 meters. The bottom is sand and mud. Holding is good. There is a lot of garbage on the bottom. The water is muddy due to the muddy bottom. Yachts here are well sheltered from winds and waves of all directions.

Nidri is a very popular place and on weekends in high season the whole area are filled with yachts. The town is very lively with many bars, taverns and stores. There are stores selling second hand yachting equipment. There is a good hiking trip to the Nidri waterfalls.
