Yacht anchorage in Fraxia Bay

Fraxia Bay (Ormos Fraxia) is located on the east coast of Lefkas Island, 0.8 miles to west of Skopelos Island.

Yachts are anchored in the middle of the bay at a depth of 5-10 meters, selecting sandy areas on the bottom. The bottom is sand, stones, seaweed. It may take several attempts before an anchor is firmly fixed. With the prevailing north-westerly winds it is a good idea take lines ashore. The bay is small, there is space for 4-5 yachts. In the summer there are sometimes a lot of wasps.
