Yacht moorings in Korthiou Bay

Korthiou Bay is located on the east coast of Andros island, 6 miles north of the southern tip of the island.

In the north of the bay there is a small semi-abandoned fishport. Here yachts can be moored to the inner side of the eastern breakwater. Mooring by the alongside or stern with own anchor. Depths at the breakwater are 2.2-4.5 meters. The bottom in the harbor is cluttered, so it is better to moor alongside.

The cove protects yachts well from west and south winds. Also yachts can be anchored near fishport at depths of 3-6 meters. The bottom is sandy. Holding is good.

There is a village with taverns, bars and stores on the shore. The western shore of the bay is a sand and pebble beach.
