Leonidhio or Plaka is a very pleasant little port on the west shore of Argolikos Gulf. The harbor is not very well protected from southerly winds, which can create a small but unpleasant wave in it. From winds from other directions the harbor shelters yachts perfectly.
Yachts are moored with their stern or bow to the inner side of the south breakwater at their own anchor. Depths near the breakwater range from 5 meters at the harbor entrance to 1 meter at the breakwater root. The bottom is sand and seaweed. Holding is good, but you have to make sure that the anchor is fixed.
There is water and electricity on the pier. There are restaurants and a convenience store on the shore. There is a nice beach right in the harbor.
