Ermioni is a delightful fishing port in the north-eastern Peloponnese. Ermioni not often visited by yachtsmen. Yachtsmen who travel on charter yachts usually come here from Athens.
There are several options for yacht parking in Hermioni.
First, in Hermioni Harbor, you cam moored to the L-shaped east pier. There is a red harbor entrance light at the end of the pier. Yachts are moored alongside on the south side of the part of the pier where the red entrance light is located (the ferry approaches the north side of this pier). You cannot moor a yacht stern or bow to that part of the pier, as you will block with your anchor the approach to the east side of the pier where yachts moor stern or bow on their anchors. Depths on this pier are from 4 meters on the east end of the pier, where the entrance fire is located, to about 1.5 meters on about one-third of the pier from shore.
Second, you can moor your boat stern or bow inside the harbor to the west side of the pier. The depths are about the same there. A total of about 30 yachts can moor to the L-shaped pier. There are several water and electricity points on the pier, which are paid for with cards, that you buy at the store opposite the pier.
Thirdly. If the pier is full, you can be anchored to the east of the harbor entrance on depths of 3-6 meters. Do not anchor in the middle of the bay, as the ferry passes here.
Fourth. If there are no strong south-south-west winds, you can moor your boat on the southern waterfront of Ermioni.
There is a small pier at the eastern end of the waterfront, to which you can moored alongside, as well as stern or bow, if the anchor chain on the yacht is enough long. The anchor will need to set at a depth of about 20 meters. The depth at the pier is 10-12 meters. To the west of the pier along the waterfront, the depths gradually decrease to one and a half to two meters at the turn of the waterfront. In total, about 30 yachts can be moored on the southern waterfront.
