Kilada is a bay and fishing village or rather a small town, is located on the north-eastern coast of the gulf of Argolikos, 10 miles north of the northern tip of Spetses and 20 miles south-east of Naplion, the capital of Greece in 1828-1833.
Yacht mooring in Kilada is possible on guest berths at the city pier or in the bay on its own anchor.
Yachts are mooored to the pier with their stern or bow at their own anchor. There is bearths for about fifteen yachts. The depth at the pier is about 3,5 meters. Anchor should be dropped at a depth of about 4-5 meters. Holding is good. Since the side of the pier where the guest yacht berths are located faces north, there are often strong gusty winds here.
Yacht anchorage is all around the bay at depths of 3 to 5 meters.
There are many restaurants, bars, a store and a bakery on the shore.
At the southern part of the bay is the Basimakopoulos Shipyard, which offers yacht construction and repair services, as well as on-shore berthing.
