Nafplio or Nafplion, the ancient capital of Greece, is located at the northernmost end of the Argolikos Gulf.
Today Naplion is a large and rather scruffy commercial port, but it offers safe berths for yachts at the waterfront.
Yachts are anchored stern or bow to the pier at their own anchor. If there are not many yachts, you may be able to moored alongside to the pier. Yachts can be anchored only to the south waterfront. The bottom is clayey. The anchor holds well. There is water on the southern quay. There is no electricity. On the waterfront and in the old town there are many restaurants and stores.
