Yacht mooring at anchors and buoys in Donkey Bay

Donkey Bay (Anse A l'Ane) is located on the southern shore of the Fort de Frvnes Gulf in western of Martinique.

Yachts can be anchored all around the bay at depths of 3-6 meters. The bottom is sand with stones and seaweeds. Holding is good. There are quite a lot of mooring buoys scattered around the bay. The bay well shelters yachts from the prevailing (easterly) winds and waves, but there is almost constant swells from passing ferries.

There is a pier at the east part of the bay, where you can moor your dinghy.

There are several good and cheap restaurants, a supermarket, car rentals, gas stations, souvenir shops, etc. on shore.
