Saint Pierre is located in the northern part of the west coast of Martinique.
Yachts can be anchored all around the bay at depths of 5-10 meters on the black sand. Holding is good. It is forbidden to be anchored between 3 yellow buoys and the pontoon. The bay protects the yachts well from the prevailing (easterly) winds and waves, but the changing currents and winds make all the yachts move and behave differently than your neighbors, so you have to leave a lot of space for other yachts. Some ripples are possible.
Note that the pier is not suitable for dinghies, which get stuck under it at high tide. A good idea is to hang the bow of the dinghy on the pier.
There is a Super U supermarket in the village with a good range. On Saturday there is a large farmer's market where locals sell fruits, vegetables, homemade baked goods, fresh fish and much more.
Entry/exit formalities at the tourist office in Berten Square.
